CLASSIFYING
Greystone Aggre-Spec™ Classifying Systems

GreyStone Aggre-Spec sand classifying and re-blending systems allow material producers to modify a natural sand blend into a high
quality industry standard specification. Built for years of dependable, operator-friendly service life, GreyStone classifying tanks and system controls re-blend up to 2 standard spec products at one time. With GreyStone Aggre-Spec systems, producers can…
• Scalp excess water
• Reject deleterious material
• Separate sand particles
• Reblend up to 2 spec products simultaneously
Greystone Aggre-Spec™ Stationary Tanks

GreyStone stationary Aggre-Spec product line includes 10 classifier models ranging in size from 8 ft x 20 ft to 12 ft x 48 ft. Stationary structures offer from 6 to 11 classifying stations with 3 cells, capable of producing up to 3 products at one time.
Greystone Aggre-Spec™ Semi-Portable Classifiers

GreyStone semi-portable Aggre-Spec classifying systems feature a modular, low-profile construction and stack-up design for quick installation. The line includes 18 classifier models ranging in size from 8 ft x 24 ft to 12 ft x 48 ft. Semi-portable structures offer from 7 to 11 classifying stations and produce up to 820 TPH.
Greystone Aggre-Spec™ Portable Classifiers

GreyStone fully portable Aggre-Spec classifying systems feature a low-profile design for quick transport and installation. The line includes 8 classifier models ranging in size from 8 ft x 24 ft to 10 ft x 40 ft. Portable structures offer from 7 to 11 classifying stations and produce up to 350 TPH.
Aggre-Spec™ Control Systems

GreyStone knows that in today's market conditions, out-of-spec product can cost producers thousands of dollars per day. That's why GreyStone offers a Windows®- based control system, which allows producers to make an unlimited number of recipes of two products. Aggre-Spec control systems hold to tight product specifications and warn operators of potential out-of-spec product conditions.
Aggre-Spec I™

GreyStone's Aggre-Spec I sand re-blending control system allows producers to maintain specifications by diverting excess fractions on a "percentage" basis from the individual stations of the classifier. Aggre-Spec I features:
- 10 recipes of two products--for a total of 20 products.
- Each recipe has a programmable cycle time.
- All stations have the same cycle time of discharge.
- Each station is independent of other stations.
- Total time is 100% for each station which allows any valve to be set in one-percent (1%) increments.
- Station time is divided among valves A and B as required ... then valve C the remainder of time.
- Station Monitor: Measures length of time each station has discharged for a record of production.
- Sensing Paddle Alarm: Notifies operator when one of the sensing paddles has been stalled in excess of set point time.
- Control panel lights indicate when valve is actuated.
- Alarm History.
Aggre-Spec II™

GreyStone's Aggre-Spec II sand re-blending control system allows producers to maintain specifications by diverting excess fractions from the incoming feed material by setting minimum and maximum timer settings of the classifier's individual stations, "batching" the finished product specifications. Aggre-Spec II features:
- 10 recipes of two products--for a total of 20 products.
- Each valve has a maximum and minimum time setting.
- The Control System monitors production at all stations as follows: The product
valve (A) at each station will register with the controller when it reaches its minimum discharge time and will continue to discharge until either: it reaches its maximum time, or the rest of the (A) valves at all other stations have reached their minimum time ... at which point all product (A) valves will reset for the next cycle. If the product (A) discharge valve reaches its maximum time and the cycle
has not reset: the remainder of sand will discharge to the product (B) valve at that station. when product (B) valve reaches its maximum and neither cycle has reset,
only then will the sand discharge at the (C) valve. when either product (A) or (B) cycle resets, material will stop discharging
at the (C) valve. This illustrates how all valves for one product are controlled
together so the resulting discharge of all sand fractions stays within the
specification envelope for each product (A) and (B) while producing the
minimum of non-specification product (C).
- End of Cycle Alarm: Once a station reaches its maximum discharge of all
three valves, the alarm alerts operator if any station has not reached its minimum.
Ratio Control: Allows operator to proportion material flow within a station
to valve (A) and (B) intermittently.
- Station Overrides: Simulate a stalled paddle.
- Maintains history of production of each valve at each station.
- Control panel lights indicate when valve is actuated.
- Alarm History
Windows®-based Aggre-Spec III™

GreyStone's Aggre-Spec III computer-aided sand re-blending system features a patent-pending, 2-method control system that delivers higher productivity than single-method programs. This exclusive GreyStone program automatically selects the most efficient process for re-blending up to 3 products, including 2 spec products, simultaneously. The user-friendly Aggre-Spec III allows multi-tasking with other Windows-based programs. Aggre-Spec III is available for all GreyStone classifier models and can be retrofitted to most existing classifying operation systems.
Get Unmatched Efficiency with Aggre-Spec II
- Patented, 3-method re-blending system delivers up to 15% higher productivity than single-method programs.
- Simple, "single-step" product spec changes eliminate wasted time searching for hidden keys.
- Automatically monitors feed material to warn the operator of potential product mix or mechanical problems.
- Holds to tight product specifications and reduces the possibility of out-of-spec material.
- Unlimited mix design storage capacity.
- Multi-tasking capabilities with other Windows-based programs while re-blending spec sand products.
WASHING
Greystone Coarse Material Washers

GreyStone coarse material washers feature a unique adjustable screw shaft design, giving producers precise control over product specifications. The line consists of both single and twin screw models that process up to 2" feed material. A variety of screw diameter sizes, from 24" to 44", are available with production capacities up to 500 TPH.
Greystone Fine Material Dewatering Screws

With single and twin auger designs available, GreyStone dewatering screws are built for economical, long-life production. From our externally mounted pillow block bearings to oil-bath sealed gear reducer drives, most GreyStone components are standard, off-the-shelf items to facilitate maintenance and reduce downtime. With a low-profile, custom-built design, our E-Series dewatering screws range in size from 12" x 14' to 36" x 25' and are capable of producing up to 200 TPH. Our larger, standard series are available in sizes from 36" x 28' to 84" x 38' and can produce up to 1000 TPH.
GreyStone Aggre-Washer™ and Screening Plants

Customized to meet your requirements, GreyStone Aggre-Washer and Screening Plants are the most portable and diverse plants on the market. Producers can equip these versatile washing and screening plants with single or twin classifier screws, urethane or Ni-Hard wear shoes, a variety of horizontal or inclined screens and manual or hydraulic leveling devices. Easy to transport, Aggre-Washer plants are ready to move by simply folding down the feed hopper, removing the blocking and hooking up to the tractor trailer. GreyStone washing and screening plants can be moved and ready for operation within a single shift.
GreyStone Log Washers

Delivering superior scrubbing action, producers choose GreyStone log washers to clean clay and silty material from their spec aggregate product. Featuring a unique spiral paddle shaft, our log washer design eliminates intermittent shock loading on the shaft and gearbox and delivers a continuous material motion, resulting in a cleaner final product.
Greystone Blade Mill Washers

Clean mud and soluble clay from gravel feed material with GreyStone blade mill washers. Strategically located, spirally positioned paddles and full-diameter flights provide the necessary aggregate abrading and washing action to deliver cleaner spec product, while maintaining required production levels. Removable gates adjust the tub water level to tailor the aggregate washing action to specific circuit requirements. |
