Who is Whitney and Son, Inc.? Whitney is a family owned New England company servicing all six states. We are thirty people dedicated to serving our customers' needs. Founded in 1964 as Whitney Associates by Nason Whitney, Whitney and Son's first office was in an upstairs bedroom in Lexington, Massachusetts. Our second office, still in Lexington, was very cozy and located over the family garage. Expanding its operations in 1988, Whitney opened a 13,000 sq. ft. warehouse and wire cloth facility in Fitchburg, MA. In 1992, Whitney acquired an adjacent machine shop and converted it to the current home of its offices. Whitney continued the expansion of the Fitchburg facility in 1999 by opening a new 16,000 sq. ft. wire cloth shop. Today, its five acre Fitchburg facility boasts three buildings and 38,000 sq. ft. under roof. |
